The BSAVA has released details of of its new programme of CPD – BSAVA Learn Online.
The online series of 10 courses, to commence in January 2020, will provide nine hours of CPD each month and cover a breadth of topics.
Member request
The courses, which have been designed in response to a member survey conducted earlier this year, will deliver CPD at a time convenient to members – so whether they are on a night shift or working in a different time zone, they won’t miss out.

- February: Getting to grips with thoracic radiology, by Frances Barr
- March: Coughing dogs, by Jenny Reeve
- May: Travelling dogs – managing “exotic” diseases, by Kate Murphy
- June: Approach to anaemia, by Vicki Black
- July: Ophthalmology – back to basics, by Lorrain Fleming
- September: Gastrointestinal surgery, by Alison Moores
- October: Otitis – the good, the bad and the ugly, by Natalie Barnard
- November: Cardio-mergency! Common canine cardiac emergencies, by Kieran Borgeat
- December: Festive emergencies, by Helen Wilson
Costs
Courses cost £120 for BSAVA members and £180 for non-members (inclusive of VAT).
